♾️ A Trip to Mars ( Himmelskibet, or Heaven Ship) is a 1918 Danish science-fiction adventure fantasy film. It features Gunnar Tolnæs, Zanny Petersen, Nicolai Neiiendam, and Alf Blütecher. ♾️ Navy captain Avanti Planetaros is inspired by his astronomer father to travel to Mars, where they find a land is inhabited by people who have reached a higher stage of development, free of diseases, sorrow, violence, sexual urges, and the fear of death.
